A larger project, such as a complete apartment or home renovation, can range from 6 to 12 months or more. This timeline accounts for our comprehensive phases: initial consultation and briefing, concept development, detailed design and sourcing, procurement of furnishings, and finally, construction and installation. We provide a detailed project schedule from the outset to ensure you have a clear understanding of the timeline.

Absolutely. We believe a home should tell your personal story, and cherished items are a huge part of that. During our initial inventory phase, we'll assess your existing pieces to see how they can be thoughtfully integrated into the new design. Whether it's a family heirloom, a piece of art, or a favorite chair, we can build the design around it. We often suggest reupholstering or refinishing items to give them a renewed life within the new aesthetic.

We prioritize financial transparency. At the start of a project, we work with you to establish a realistic and comfortable budget. We then create a detailed budget proposal for your approval before any purchasing begins. Our studio handles all procurement and logistics, leveraging our trade relationships to secure the best possible value. You will receive regular budget updates and will approve every item, ensuring full control and no financial surprises.

This is a great question. An interior decorator primarily focuses on aesthetics, such as paint colors, furniture, and accessories, to beautify a space. An interior designer has formal education and training in space planning, functionality, and technical aspects like lighting and material specifications. We manage projects from the ground up, collaborating with architects and contractors on structural changes, creating detailed floor plans, and ensuring the space is not only beautiful but also functional and safe.

Communication is the cornerstone of our process. We serve as your single point of contact, managing the entire project team from contractors to artisans. We schedule regular meetings (weekly or bi-weekly) and provide detailed progress reports. For day-to-day communication, we use a dedicated project management tool where you can view updates, approve items, and ask questions at your convenience, ensuring the process is both collaborative and seamlessly organized.

Our relationship doesn't end when the last cushion is placed. After the final reveal, we conduct a thorough walk-through to ensure every detail meets your expectations. We provide you with a comprehensive binder containing all documentation, including product specifications and care instructions for your new furnishings. We remain available for any questions that may arise as you settle into your new space and are happy to assist with future design needs.
